Displaying names on your ceremony’s video feed is a great way to honor your graduates as each is individually recognized on stage. GradTag by Pro Pics makes this efficient and affordable.
The operation of our GradTag system during the ceremony is very simple. During recognition, as each graduates approaches the stage, the unique QR code on his/her reader card is quickly scanned with a handheld scanner, safely tethered to a laptop off-stage running our GradTag software. (Cards are scanned significantly faster than names can be read, so this process will never impede the ceremony.) Then, at the exact moment each graduate’s name is announced over the PA system, the correct name is displayed as a lower-third graphic on your video feed.

At the exact moment when each graduate’s name is announced, an operator using our GradTag software can display that individual’s name on your venue’s video displays.
Our GradTag system runs on laptop computers and utilizes HDMI video outputs that your university’s A/V specialists can easy incorporate into their workflow for the venue’s video displays and commencement livestreams. It works seamlessly with single and dual line commencement ceremonies.
